As the season approaches, I'm sure many of you coaches are evaluating your talent, thinking about what to run this coming season. Here is another one worth considering:
John Harmatuk’s SPACE AND ATTACK OFFENSE
Ay Cypress Springs High School in Houston, Texas we have been pretty successful with an aggressive attack on both ends of the floor. We call our offense, “Space and Attack”. This offense is essentially spacing and ball movement with the dribble. Our offensive players must get to the rim to score or get fouled. If they can’t get to the rim, that means they drew help from the defense. What we call “get 2 defenders to the ball.” If the offensive player draws help he must then make the correct read off the help. That is what we call “play off each other”.
What are the components of the space and attack offense?
• spacing
• personnel
• transition
• attacking the defender; attacking the rim; attacking the help
• scoring hierarchy
• terminology

As a fellow coach, I know what it's like when you're in practice and you want to show your players the way the play is supposed to work. Except only a few players can actually see what you've been madly scribbling on your 8.5 x 11 clipboard. Wouldn't it be easier to show your players with something like this,
Say you are off to an important regional invitational tournament. It's halftime and your team is having a hard time breaking the other team's press. You're in the locker room but there is no chalkboard or whiteboard. You want to show all 13 of your players what they need to do in the second half, but there's no easy way to draw it out for them. By the time you ask for a whiteboard, halftime is up.
There is a better way coaches, Courtstick is a 24" x 36" poster with a special chemical overlay allowing you to write on it with a dry erase pen and then easily erase with a cloth or paper towel.
Courtstick adheres easily to any surface with any type of tape, sticky tack, or temporary adhesive product. Special durable coating allows tape to be removed without damage.
Simply roll it up when you are finished and use it over and over again.
The best part is that the 24" x 36" Courtstick is only $20.00 + SH, get with it and buy yours today.

“I have used many different statistical and video software packages over the course of my 12 years in coaching, and CREZ is by far the most effective. It eliminates the wasted time for a coach having to cut up a video to show players or staff by making it instantaneously available in any format I need. The CREZ software has enabled a small coaching staff to do the things a large staff would be capable off with little effort. It has already made a difference in our preparation and in our play.”
Bryan Townley, Head Basketball Coach - John Paul II High School

BETTER PASSING- Is it possible to develop qualities like court sense, vision, and the instinctive ability to make the right pass at the right time? The answer, thanks to this video, is yes! With Better Passing's 42 game situations, you'll learn how to read the court and develop that sixth sense that all great passers have.
